I am so through with MSNBC

It’s a common thread that we see running through the media during ‘silly season’; the media picks their ‘darling’ candidates, and then do everything they can to discredit others that they think don’t fit their agenda du jour.

Such has been the case with FOX and CNN; we’ve already seen their shenanigans displayed for all to see during the primaries over the last few weeks, and now we can add MSNBC to that list.

Between Chris Matthews getting a hard on for Clinton, and trying to do what he can to shore up interest for his wife’s ongoing political campaign (can someone say ‘conflict of interest?), and Morning Joe going on about how the GOP is going to ‘pull the rug out from under the Democrats’ during this election cycle, I’ve about had enough of all of the blatant cheerleading.

Case in point is this story that’s running now on the MSNBC front page —“Can Hillary Clinton deal a fatal blow to Bernie Sanders on Super Tuesday” Link

Stories like this represent all that is wrong with mainstream journalism thee days — there isn’t a belief anymore in unbiased reporting of the day’s events.  ‘Fair and balanced’ is as much of a load of bullshit as a load of manure in a wheelbarrow.  Gone are the days of ethics.  It’s been replaced by a system of who can fling the most poo and get it to stick on the wall.

Calling the media out for disinformation doesn’t do any good; not in the digital information age.  Negative comments can be deleted or moderated out of the thread.  Networks can ignore the will of their subscribers, at will.

I see Daily Kos as a safe haven.  Yeah, there are times where we all don’t read off the same sheet of music; we won’t always agree on things.  But as a Bernie supporter, I’m one that doesn’t believe Clinton is ‘inevitable’.  The people should have their voice.  All 50 states should have the right to choose, without the media writing the ‘Clinton is going to win” narrative.

Let the people choose.  Only then will we be a true Democracy, instead of the Oligarchy that the Media corporations would like us to be.
